Jag nämnde låten lite kort i samband med mitt inlägg om konserten med Josh Groban i december 2018, men den här låten förtjänar ett eget inlägg.
Som jag skrev i konsertinlägget, hade jag lyssnat på "River" innan konserten. Redan från första lyssningen tyckte jag om den, men efter att Josh Groban presenterade den på konserten, tyckte jag om den ännu mer. Efteråt har den fortsatt att växa.
När jag först lyssnade på den, slog det mig aldrig riktigt att den handlar om psykisk ohälsa - vilket i och för sig är konstigt, för om man lyssnar ordentligt på texten är det uppenbart. Efter Josh Grobans presentation på konserten är det inte bara låten som vuxit i mina ögon (och öron), utan även Josh Groban själv.
